Meghan Perazella, M.Ed. BCBA
LBA (CT), Founder & CEO
Launching The Hangout Spot with her Co-Founder is the culmination of Meghan’s professional and personal journey focused on bringing a level of care and support to her community that foundationally improves lives one at a time. Meghan brings passion and over seventeen years of experience to The Hangout Spot, having provided special education and behavior analytic services in the center, home-, and public-school settings throughout Fairfield County. Meghan has co-authored publications in Autism Parenting Magazine and Behavioral Science in the 21st Century blog and served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Saint Joseph. She is a five-time prize recipient of awards honoring excellence and leadership in working with children with disabilities. Meghan earned her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction for Students with Severe Special Needs and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Human Development from Boston College. She later completed her Post-Master BCBA Certificate at Endicott College.

Andrew Portnoy
Chief Commercial Officer
Andrew serves as Chief Commercial Officer at The Hangout Spot, where he leads marketing, sales, and business development, along with brand strategy, growth initiatives, and constituency engagement. He is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, expanding strategic partnerships, strengthening market positioning, and ensuring the voice of the customer informs decision-making across the organization.
Andrew brings more than 30 years of experience leading integrated marketing, sales, and strategy teams for globally recognized brands including McGraw-Hill Education, Standard & Poor’s, J.D. Power & Associates, and BusinessWeek. Throughout his career, he has consistently accelerated growth, expanded market share, and built high-performing commercial organizations grounded in data-driven insights, disciplined execution, and strong customer relationships.
He has also represented organizations in corporate leadership forums such as The Council on Foreign Relations, The U.S. Council for International Business, The Corporate Executive Board, and the Marketing Leadership Council.

Kylie Batcha
Business Manager
As The Hangout Spot’s Business Manager, Kylie plays a key role in supporting operations and continued growth, bringing a strong foundation in business administration, accounting, and data analytics from North Carolina State University. A Norwalk native, she is passionate about making a meaningful impact both within The Hangout Spot and in the broader community.
Driven by a commitment to continuous learning and collaboration, Kylie brings a thoughtful, team-oriented approach to her work. She is excited to contribute to the mission and vision of The Hangout Spot and help drive its next phase of growth.
